Dental Extractions

Before installing an implant, bridge, or a plate, one needs to establish in consultation with your dental professional a treatment regimen that may include teeth removal. There are situations when your teeth cannot be restored due to breakage or decay. If the pulp or the gums are infected endodontic treatments might be useless. Extraction is a solution if you have supernumerary teeth or the space for the last molar is not enough to develop properly.

If the teeth are visible in the mouth we deal with a simple extraction and a local anesthetic will be used. The tooth will be lifted using an elevator and brought forth until the ligaments are broken. Then, with forceps, the tooth can be removed easily from the mouth. The procedure is painless and the impression can be taken at the next visit.
